How do I make an appointment with financial aid UCI? ›

Grade Point Average (GPA) requirement: Undergraduates must have a minimum cumulative GPA of at least a 2.0 at the conclusion of the Spring term of each academic year.

Students who demonstrate that they need financial assistance in order to attend may be eligible for scholarships, grants, loans, and/or work-study awards through the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships.

To schedule an appointment, you can walk in to the Counseling Center during lobby hours (Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:00pm), located in Room 203 of the Student Services I building, or call 949-824-6457 during operating hours (Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm).

If you submitted a paper FAFSA form, your form will be processed within 7 to 10 days. Once your form is processed, you'll receive a copy of your Student Aid Report (SAR), which summarizes the information you provided on your FAFSA form. Review your SAR and make sure all of the information is complete and accurate.

You can confirm if a financial hold has been placed or released on your account by going to the View Your Account page in your ZOT Account. Financial Holds may be placed on your account for any of the following reasons: Past Due Balance on your ZOT Account. Payments returned unpaid by the bank.
